MURRAY COUTTS

Currently I am the District Finance Manager, essentially the District Treasurer, and responsible for all the financial areas. I also have the role of Club Coach Chair which involves supporting the club coaches in the district.

I joined my first club (Auckland Toastmasters) in 1980 and was a member until taking a job out of Auckland. I returned to Toastmasters in 2003, joining Hibiscus Coast Toastmasters. I have previously been a member of Silverdale-Orewa Toastmasters, Warkworth Toastmasters and
Auckland Advanced Toastmasters.

I have been a successful Club Coach, Club Mentor and sponsor of three clubs. My awards include: Toastmasters International Excellence in Education and Training award 2011-12, three Distinguished Toastmasters Awards and a District 72 Commendation.

My previous roles include Distinguished District Governor 2012-2013. President's Distinguished Division F Governor, three terms as an Area Governor/Director, membership of the District Reformation Committee, Chair of the District Leadership Committee and Chair of an District
Investigation Committee.
